Stuart Rae is a Partner and Solicitor with Gallowglass Security, working closely with the company’s largest clients and enjoys a wide ranging brief providing support to the organisation and its main service sectors of Events, Property and Enforcement.
Stuart joined Gallowglass Security in 2006, following a successful career as a lawyer, specialising in criminal law and becoming a Higher Courts Advocate, allowing him the rights of audience in all criminal matters up to and including the Supreme Court.
As part of Gallowglass Security’s team, he is now responsible for governance, regulatory compliance and new business acquisition. Since starting with Gallowglass Security, Stuart has ensured the company achieves and maintains the external approval of Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) and ISO 9001 :2015 and ISO 14001 : 2015 (Environmental) status; through constantly evolving and improving its quality management systems, ultimately to enhance the quality of service provision to all Gallowglass clients. This regulatory remit extends also to supervising the ongoing renewal of all of Gallowglass’s H&S safety systems.
Alongside Stuart’s work as Gallowglass Security’s Compliance and legal lead, he also plays a lead role in the preparation of big ticket tenders, as well as an active role in the business’s operations, working closely with Founder and Managing Partner, Giles Turnbull and Head of Operations, Nick Kostov.
