For those clients with a long standing association with Gallowglass, Mo is affectionately regarded as being synonymous with Gallowglass and the embodiment of its ethos, particularly being highly proactive and going the extra mile for clients.

He is currently Executive Partner, with a wide ranging remit in operations, and holds the coveted SIA close protection license.

He enjoys the distinction of being, along with Giles Turnbull, the longest serving member of the Gallowglass Security, having been with Gallowglass since inception in 1999. Prior to that, he spent time as a lugger in the event construction business.

Mo regards his time as a lugger as highly influential in that he gained a profound understanding of the dynamics involved in live events, and this has helped shape his outlook, from a security perspective, towards live events.

Whilst Mo has been successfully involved in all aspects of operations service delivery; his particular cachet is as a security team leader where he is greatly respected for his charisma, attention to detail, awareness and leadership skills amongst clients and guards alike.

So much so, that his leadership is valued and sought year on year by clients, particularly when required to lead large security teams at events that attract high profile media attention, at prestige venues.

His leadership style and approach is immensely versatile. He is equally at home leading and providing an understated and reassuring presence at corporate events such as FTSE 100 AGM’s; as well as a fearless approach on tough and potentially confrontational assignments.

Managing Partner Giles Turnbull says of him “Mo has been a first class and tireless security leader over the years, and has led all manner of assignments with great skill, aplomb and determination; as well as being source of wise counsel to the considerable benefit of both myself and Gallowglass”.
